The river wall repairs at JH Abraham Reserve is expected to commence in early December 2021 with completion expected in March 2022.

Following the completion of the wall repairs, associated landscaping works will follow and is scheduled to be completed in May 2021. It is important to note that during the works:

  • Repairs are tide dependent
  • The reserve will be accessible, however the work zone will not. Pedestrian access will be maintained.
  • Only parking bays adjacent to the public toilets will be affected.
  • Some out of hours and weekend works are anticipated
  • There will be an increase in noise and dust however this will be kept to a minimum. Noise levels will be maintained in accordance with the Environmental Protection (Noise) Regulations 1997 (the Regulations).
