Consultation has concluded
Following the replacement of the automatic retractable bollards within the Hay Street and Murray Street Malls in 2020, The City of Perth (City) has committed to upgrading the remaining adjacent static bollards.
The upgrade will also include the installation of new seating to the front of the Perth Underground, within the Mall. This new seating will form a certified barrier preventing unauthorised vehicular access entering the Mall.
The upgrade works are scheduled to run from August to November 2022 and will be staged to minimise disruption – please refer to the attached location maps. Construction for each stage is anticipated as follows:
